When one completes a WIP, there is always that sense of pride and accomplishment for a job well done.  On the other hand, there's that sort of sadness that comes with finishing a story that you've put your all into and that you've spent so much time with the characters.  It's like that Schoolhouse Rock short -- Interjection!  When the girl says, "Darn! That's the end."
